Issue Description :-
iPod touch is currently disabled for 23,319,628 minutes. It will not
go into recovery mode, and I cannot contact Apple support because the
ID/Code on the back of my device has completely worn off so I can no
longer identify the iPod without being in settings. I have tried to DFU
the device (or whatever that d something is, and i cannot get into my
device because it won't go into recovery mode and iTunes doesn't
recognize my iPod.
Solution:-
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. Try more than once. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically
downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to
be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not
included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to
computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. Is this
happening?
