Posted By: TechSlam - 8:57 PM
Here's the step by step instruction on how to restart the apple mobile device in a windows computer:
1. Click on Run on the START menu of your windows computer.
2.In the RUN text box, type in services.msc and click OK. You will get a list of devices listed.
3.Look for "Apple Mobile Device Service" and check if the service is STARTED.
4.Now if the status does not show that it is STARTED, then right click on Apple Mobile Device Service and you will see START. Click on START.
5.In case the service is already STARTED, then when you right click on it, you will find RESTART. Click RESTART.

I get a "Cannot start service error 2: cannot find specified file" or something along those lines.
I installed 3.1 update on my touch and the screen keeps saying "connect to iTunes"; my computer keeps showing a message that reads: Windows cannot find the Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode) but I don't have a disc and the solutions online are not solving my problem. Help!!! Please.
