Here comes the latest addition to the worlds best music player. Yes, you got it absolutely correct. Apple has launched latest iPod Nano's which has the capability of taking pictures and recording videos. This addition of this feature to the Nano is going to make a huge impact in the iPod business to apple. It also has built in built in speakers and mic, so that you can record anything you wish now. Isn't that cool ?
With 8GB model you can record upto 8 hours of video and with 16GB model you can record 16 hours of video. Video will record at 640×480 pixels, at up to 30 FPS. It’ll be H.264 VGA formatted with AAC audio.
If you are a lover of special effects, then videos can also be recorded with a variety of iSight-style special effects and filters, including Sepia, Motion Blur, Mirror, etc . All in all this feature has really urged me to upgrade my old iPod nano to this latest Nano with built in camera.
What do you think about this latest feature from apple ?

Posted By: TechSlam - 10:05 AM
Note: These steps are also applicable to reset iPod Classics
Hi
Today I am writing on how to reset iPod Nano 4th Generation iPod. Most of the time when you are syncing your iPod with your computer,Charging your iPod or listening to the music, your iPod screen will go blank and you will be surprised what happened to your iPod.
Well actually in these scenarios it is confirmed that, your iPod is frozen and all you need to do to fix the iPod is to reset it. Follow the steps below to reset your iPod.
If your iPod is connected to a computer and displays any of the following messages you should eject the iPod from computer instead of resetting it:
1.On the top left hand corner of your iPod you can see a toggle switch(lock/hold switch). Toggle it on and off(back and forth) for 4-5 times and make sure that the status light near this switch does not show orange color. If it shows orange, just toggle to other side so that it is hidden.
2.Next place your iPod on a flat surface.
3.You can see the MENU button and the CENTER(Select) button in your iPod. All you need to do is just press and hold both these buttons together at the same time and keep holding it until you see an Apple logo showing up in the iPod screen. Just let go your fingers when you see the apple logo and wait for some times.
After some time the Apple logo will disappear and and then your iPod will show the normal menu screen.
There you go. Your should be working fine now.
If this troubleshooting step fix the issue with your iPod , please let me know by leaving your valuable comments below and help me make this website a better place for all iPod users.Thank you.

iPod Nano(4th Generation) Compatibility Issue
Posted By: TechSlam - 9:38 AM
"I was looking for help online and found your site. Here's the problem:
I have a PowerBook G4 with mac os x 10.3.9, which by now is very old and outdated, but I can't afford a new computer at this time. I never really used itunes, but itunes 7.6.2 is what came with the powerbook.
I was recently given a new ipod nano as a gift. When I try to use it, it tells me that I need itunes 8 or higher. When I try to update to the latest itunes (itunes 8.2.1 I think), that tells me it is not compatible with my old system.
My question: is there some version of itunes that would be compatible with both my old computer and my new ipod? And where could I get that? Failing that, is there any other way to get my new ipod to work?
thank you very much."
Hi Monica, Thankyou for visiting my website and requesting for an online help. I would be very much happy to provide you with all the necessary help and support related to your question. The new iPod nano which you are talking seems to be an iPod Nano(4th generation). And you have a MAC Powerbook running os x 10.3.9. For the compatibility of iPod nano with a MAC OS , it requires iTunes version 8.0 or higher. And for iTunes 8.0 or later to be compatible with a MAC OS, it requires Mac OS X version 10.4.10 or later. For your question, Is there any iTunes version which will be compatible with Nano 4th generation, The answer is NO. Latest generation iPod runs only with iTunes 8.0 or later. So the option infront of you to make your new iPod work is to upgrade your MAC OS to 10.4.10 or Later, or else if you just want to import few songs into your iPod you can take your iPod to your friends or family computer which has iTunes 8.0.
For more information on iTunes 8.0 compatibility with MAC OS, please visit Apple website iTunes 8 Compatibility.
Hope I have answered to your question, though there was not a proper solution for it. In case you need further information, feel free to leave a comment here. Thankyou
