How to redeem an iTunes gift card ?

Posted By: TechSlam - 10:39 AM
Redeeming iTunes gift card is very simple. Anyone can redeem an iTunes gift card through iTunes store, even if he does not have an iTunes store account.

If you have an iTunes store account, follow the steps below to redeem the gift card:

1. For redeeming the gift card you need to have the latest version of iTunes. Download it for FREE from here, or if you have iTunes already installed in your computer, you can go for an update.

2. Now open the iTunes program, and on the left hand side source list, you will find iTunes Store link. Click on it, and you will find iTunes Store page opened on the right hand side.

3.In the upper right corner of your iTunes Store page, you will find "Sign In" option. Click on it and sign in with your iTunes store account. If you have already signed in, you will find your email showing up there.

4.In the right hand column, you have a QUICK LINKS panel and within that you will find REDEEM option.Click on redeem.

5.In the resulting window enter your 16 digit code of your gift card and then click on redeem.

6.On successful redeeming , the credit amount will appear next to your account name in the upper-right corner. Each time you make a purchase from the iTunes store, iTunes will deduct funds from the credit until the credit limit goes down to 0.

If you do not have an iTunes Store account:
